Ham and Cheese Hoagie

Ham and Cheese Hoagie

Sierra's Version: Ham and Cheese Hoagie
Ingredients
  • 4 Hoagie Rolls
  • 8 Slices Hickory-Smoked Ham
  • 6 oz Sharp Cheddar Cheese, sliced (Cabot, a great Vermont-made option, works well)
  • 3 tablespoons Dijon Mustard
  • 3-4 tablespoons Mayonnaise
  • 6-8 tablespoons of Steve Sauce (add more/less based on personal preference)
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.
  2. Slice each hoagie roll in half, leaving one side attached. Place them on a baking sheet and toast lightly in the oven until golden.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together the Dijon mustard, mayonnaise, and Steve Sauce. Spread the mixture generously on both sides of the toasted rolls.
  4. Place cheddar cheese slices on one side of each roll and two slices of ham on the other. Return to the oven and bake until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  5. Close the hoagie, press gently, and serve warm. Enjoy!
